December update : slowly but surely

Hope you are fine. Sorry to have missed the November update. The project is moving slowly but surely, and books are still planned for a march release. Until then I am working on the design, and my other projects: the letterpress calendar that is now printing under the press of Studio Pression, and the Crossed Keys Playing Cards that finally arrived and are shipped all around the world!

October update : new scanner and quality update

Hope you are fine. This photo is maybe not the most beautiful thing you will see today, but it shows a real difference in the project! This is my new A3 scanner and the quality is beyond my expectations. 

So on I am now rescanning the complete collection of Monograms to get the best quality possible. Here is the difference. 

The design of the 2 news books is a lot of work and s you know if you follow me, I am also working on some other project at the same time: the Crossed Keys Society playing cards are coming from Ukraine after months of delay due to the situation, and the 12th edition of the Letterpress calendar is on approval from Kickstarter. 

For now, the books should be ready as announced in March 2023. I want to be sure you will get this information as some of you asked why they do not have the books yet which surprise me. 

The large print of the Alphabet is now printed and the Cities name should be ready soon.

Hello,

hope you are fine and safe. You probably already received the survey from Bacerkit.  Items you choose on Kickstarter will be directly in your "cart" and if you do not want to add anything, you have nothing to pay, just enter your address and information. For add-ons, I propose to you a lot of items: original 1838 Europe maps, Alphabet Cities letterpress posters, the new Ephemera Alphabet and objects posters print I want to release in a few months.

I have these maps for a long time and I want to propose them to you first. Only one of each is available, and they are all originals from 1838 and are 33x43 cm. They will look amazing framed.

The past weeks have been crazy and I am full of gratitude. Thank you so much for the support for the project, making an idea come to life is what I love the most in my life. Thanks also to all the people who share the project, for so much enthusiasm and so much love for these amazing creations from the past. GRATITUDE

As we reach 137%, the 2 following improvements will be made :

What's next

We have to wait 2 weeks before something happens. Kickstarter takes 2 weeks to arrange the transfer of the funds. During this time I will be working on Backerkit, the management platform which will help you and me!

Backerkit will help you to complete the survey, you will be able to do the following

• add items that you could not add during the campaign (Alphabet cities letterpress posters)
• enter a temporary shipping address
• fix the payment if it did not work with Kickstarter
